So, does hydrogen peroxide clean sex toys? I never quite considered it actually, until recently when I thought about it.
To start with, I was a bit skeptic about it. Would it really produce the same hygienic result as other cleaners? I read up on it and saw that hydrogen peroxide is a great disinfectant. In fact, it can kill viruses, bacteria, and fungi that can be present on your toys.
And so, I decided to give it a try! On my way to the store, I picked up a bottle of 3% hydrogen peroxide from the grocery store. I wasn’t sure how to use it correctly, so I read the instructions carefully to make sure I was doing it right.
First, I washed my sex toy with warm soapy water, and rinsed it off with cold water afterwards. After that, I took a spray bottle and filled it halfway with hydrogen peroxide and filled the rest of it with water. I sprayed the mixture all over my toy to make sure it was completely wet. I left it there for 10 minutes before rinsing it off with cold water.
It was kind of a hassle but the results had me feeling absolutely relieved! The toy had a sparkly and hygienic finish.
Interestingly enough, hydrogen peroxide also removes odors as well. I had an old dildo that had a weird smell to it so I sprayed it with the same mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water that I used to sanitize the other toy. Once that was done, I left it to sit for 10 minutes and then rinsed it off with cold water. The smell had completely vanished! I was so impressed, that I decided to switch to hydrogen peroxide for all my sex dolls toy cleaning needs.
Now I’m a big believer in the power of hydrogen peroxide for sex toy cleaning. I’ve been using it for months now and it’s never failed me. It’s gentle yet incredibly effective and sex dolls I’d say it’s much better than the average toy cleaner out there. It’s also dirt-cheap, so overall I’d recommend giving it a try if anyone out there is interested!
Another benefit of using hydrogen peroxide is that it can be used to sterilize other products too. I recently purchased a new vibrator and was surprised to see that it came with instructions to sterilize it with hydrogen peroxide. The manufacturer even recommended using it on other surfaces like bed sheets or lingerie, which I thought was pretty cool.
There have been some studies conducted which have found that hydrogen peroxide can also be used to clean sex toys without any residue or contaminants left behind. I’m not sure if I would completely trust the long-term effects of using hydrogen peroxide, as it might cause some damage to the material of the toy, but for short-term use, it does seem like it can work well.
One thing to keep in mind when using hydrogen peroxide, is to make sure you use the correct dilution. It’s best to start with the lowest possible concentration of hydrogen peroxide and work your way up if needed, in order to ensure the best results.
Finally, this is my own opinion but I think that hydrogen peroxide can be used for sex toy cleaning, if used with caution and proper dilution. Ultimately, the decision to use hydrogen peroxide is up to each individual, depending on their own preferences and the type of toys they are cleaning. Each person is unique and so is their own cleaning routine!
